Seal Lion Caves. This sounds like a tourist trap, but it’s really worthwhile to see. The sea lions are fascinating and we love the pigeon guillemots who nest there in the summer.

Heceta Head Lighthouse and the lighthouse keeper’s house…a beautiful spot. You can access the beach here to walk under the Cape Creek Bridge.

Farmers market

Tuesdays from 3pm-6pm, late May to mid-October, in Old Town Florence at the intersection of Bay St and Nopal St.

Best places to see them: Boiler Bay State Scenic Viewpoint, Whale Watching Center in Depoe Bay, Rocky Creek State Scenic Viewpoint, Cape Foulweather, Devil’s Punchbowl State Natural Area, Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area, Yachats State Recreation Area, Cape Perpetua Turnout, Sea Lion Caves, and Heceta Head Lighthouse.
